Refund and Returns Policy

Our refund and returns policy covers the 30 day period following your purchase on www.genuinecanadianbacon.com. After this period, we no longer offer a full refund, return or exchange.


CANCELLATIONS

With the exception of special order items, pre-orders and general orders may be cancelled without penalty until the order is shipped. Once shipped, please refer to the returns & refund sections below.

Special orders may not be cancelled for any reason once the order is placed.

We reserve the right to review all orders placed to determine legitimacy, as such, delays can occur if an order is placed with different billing / shipping information.


RETURNS

Perishable goods such as food items, are exempt from being returned. Please refer to the refunds section for further information. 

Other items, such as books, clothing or other products that may be offered for sale through www.genuinecanadianbacon.com may be eligible for return provided the following conditions are met:

  • Must be unused and in its original packaging
  • Must contain all of the original parts, accessories and manuals
  • Must be returned within the 30-day window

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether the refund has been approved or rejected. We will not accept damaged items, or items that do not meet the above criteria.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. This timing may vary based on the payment method used.

If these conditions are not met, you may still be eligible for a partial refund or exchange, please refer to the corresponding sections for more information.

Also note, original shipping will not be refunded and the cost of return shipping is the customers responsibility.


EXCHANGES

We only provide exchanges on items that are defective or damaged. In these instances we will provide an exchange for the same item or in the case where the item is no longer available, we will offer an item of equal value. 


REFUNDS

Refunds will only be offered provided the item is lost, damaged or defective. It is the customer’s responsibility to report a lost or damaged goods within 72 hours of receiving your order.

Digital items such as gift cards or e-books are also eligible for refund.

All refunds will be returned to the original method of payment. If you have been approved, but have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@genuinecanadianbacon.com.
